What would people think on tactical maneuvers, aside form "Oh god, that requires even more buttons, or even worse, a drop down menu!"?

I'm talking about specific, automated behavior aswell as special move or attack orders not normally possible, with their own strengths and drawbacks.

Example:

Small target Focus:
Autofire will automatically target the smallest possible enemy, no matter what the weapon.
Would be a neat ability to make my Flak Frigates attack those pesky fighters in the face of a scout frigate and a destroyer totally impervious to their fire.

Erratic movement:  The Ships gradebonus reduces incomming accuracy instead of of increasing their own.
Lacks a drawback, but would would make a good defensive focus.

Active Guidance: Missile Firecontrols can actively guide and retarget a single salvo of up to 5xMFC-HS, but can't fire/control an other salvo during that time.
Basically like the old waypoint targeting, but without being abuseable through the limit on a single salvo at a time.

Sweeping Attack: Laser weapons are slightly more accurate, but damage template changes to missile. (Maybe hit two targets if target HS >4?)
Good for stripping a level of armor to increase the chance of smaller beam weapons penetrating afterwards, if armor is just too thick.
Also nice versus small and agile targets.
