Haven't played it, but the screenshots look like an Elite wannabe, and not as good as Oolite http://www.oolite.org/

Agreed, Oolite is good, I've been playing it since 2009. The various mods are what make it so good in my opinion.

According to the author, it is a port of a PalmOS game which is just about trading and making money. After playing a couple runs of Stellar Trader, I do think the game could use some balancing. Pitting a starting ship against one with weapons that can drop shields/hull in one shot is a bit discouraging.

on and off a good game new versions updates are rare if not non existant though limited replay value
