--- The Maiden-Class is a type of ship that I like to call a Courier. My definition of a Courier-Type ship is a vessel which: Carries Ammo for missile ships, carries a Maintenance Storage Bay and/or Large Fuel Storage Module, and is Jump Capable. I like mine to be 500-Tons and carry ammo and maintenance supplies. This is currently my lowest tech version of this type of ship. The idea of a Courier-Type vessel, at least my definition of one, is to have a Hangar-able Jump Ship for ferrying maintenance supplies and ammo to my missile ships. Ideally, a non-Box Launcher missile ship will have at least two Boat Bays to allow for the carriage of a single Courier, while also carrying enough MSP to repair it's biggest part from Damage Control at least once. Such a ship would also ideally have at least one basic Damage Control Module for this express purpose. Although big magazines can be a pain to reload with just a single Courier, the design does help save tonnage on jump drives. I have yet to test them out in conjunction with Box Launcher FAC and an attending carrier for both it (them) and the Couriers. As an aside, a jump capable missile warship benefits from Couriers in that they don't need to jump out and then in to get supplies if for whatever reason the need arose. The alternate version above is a tanker version, just as an example.
