Another mineral on Earth runs out the factions are fast reliance on the minerals and the need for new sources make them strive further into the solar system. However the source of the best minerals and access to those minerals are comets. For those that either build plenty or fast freighters this is not so much a problem but for factions that build slow freighters this is becoming a big proble.

With five fuel Harvesters completed, the goal shifts to a space defence ship a Laser Destroyer is selected and completed in a year With e mutiple assets in space these destroyers are a deterrent only, China does not expect to use them. China steals Missile Technology from OPAB reviews this against its Laser Tech and notices the Fire control is a little slow to shoot they down, they would need to upgrade this, also they would need the offensive capability of Missile destroyers to fire back at slightly large range aiming at 8km. The CSu come to the decision to upgrade it sensor packages on the corvettes rather then replace them. There will no need to chnage the engines as the lighter Gen 4 Sensor packages would make them faster. The CSu also chose the Tempel-Tuttle comet to mine. Corundium Mercassium and Uridium the prime minerals, good access and quality in the 10'000's made this a good choice.

The lack of an available shipyard to build a 1000ton Grav survey craft, really hampered the Imperium desire to expend it reach. The goal was to to finish frigate currently in the shipyard and research escort technology. A new espionage team was sent to the OPABqhich gain immediate success stealing Geo Data from OPAB, however soon after the team killed on OPAB soil. Fuel Harvesters were launched and sent to Jupiter.

Another two Fuel Harvesters were launched giving the Imperium a strong backbone of 4 harvesters, fuel stock did not become a concern.
The Imperium had been mining on Neujmin comet, however acked Corrundium which is now restricting shipbuilding. A decision was reached to redirect automated mines to a Chernykn another comet, current all the factions are staying away from each other, when it comes to the smaller asteroids and rock, tensions could flair up, if factions were to mine the same rock

Due to lack of Corrundium, production within the NPS needed to change, aiming to create variety from the available minerals. More automated mines were shipped to 2007 UK126, a source of Duranium and Tritanium and Corundium . A Spaceport was build for future needs however currently not needed.

The NPS built a Super Large Jump Gate Construction Ship, this would be used to jump into the jump points it had now found and build a Jump Gate within 180 days. NPS needs lighter alloy to build ships and research targeted to make it comparative to the other factions.
OPAB2028
OPAB builds four Blackfeet Grav Survey Class, at 1000 ton they are small to fit into a future jump ship, they quickly map our and find four jump points in the Sol system

The spy team in the CSU steals Ground Strength Gen3 from CSU. Research make leaps and bounds across the board but the OPAB never focuses in just one area.

OPAB decide to develop a 11K Jump Engine this is to put into its 11K Jump Sensor Ship. This ship will jump into a system with it maximum sensor package and observes any threat before the construction yard or various survey craft is released. OPAB will start development on this ship next year, which given the Dasland Construction Ship to put up a jump gate in 360 days will allow access into one of four possible locations, however at the end of the year a massive Duranium Shortage reduce production of anything to zero.
