I didn't like the rock, paper, scissors approach to combat.  Also, AI fleet spam that they have no possible resources to build.

Played it right after release and it was decent though it did need some polishing. will give it another try during the winter holiday

I've been playing this game when I should not be the last few days...

First impression is that it is a good game.  It has sufficient depth to be interesting and a certain degree of eye candy to keep you entertained.

There are points to the game that aren't so clear at the moment...NPRs seem to be able to do things before you for example.  It doesn't quite seem to be exactly "turn based" in all senses of the word but it isn't clear how the time wise interaction occurs.

I have to say I enjoy it at the moment and there seems to be a fair number of things to sink your teeth into.  More later when I have had a lot more time with the game.
