Title: How to you 'whack' precursor pops?
Post by: plasticpanzers on May 17, 2018, 12:17:55 AM
I have cleared a system of precursor ships and there are two small populations on two moons.  I dropped
a brigade of mobile inf on one and for 6 months nothing has happened.   Are they too small to attack or do
you just nuke it til it glows?  The brigade is one HQ and 3 battalions of mobile inf.

Did you tell them to start attacking in the Ground Forces tab?

When you moved troops to the planet, you most likely created a colony of your own empire's on the same world, rather than invading the enemy population.  You need to find that colony on the F2 'Population & Production' screen and set your ground troops to attack the neighbouring colony.

Once you've don that, you should get a notification of ground combat every production cycle (even if it ends up being zero casualties due to the small troop sizes).
