Title: Adding CMC
Post by: Rich.h on November 19, 2014, 12:55:43 PM
Is there any way to create a CMC on a body via basic play or SM mode? I know they do sometimes appear on their own but I was wondering if a body can be designated as a CMC?

No, but having a higher population in a system seems to make them spawn faster, and you can add population in sm.

Are CMC limited to certain bodies? I noticed in my current game I had a few spring up on various asteroids in the Sol system, however none seemed to have moved in on any of the comets. I was hoping they would as it makes things far easier for me than trying to ship mines to far flung hunks of ice.

There are several conditions for CMC:

I've stacked automated mines with cmcs. I dont know how to encourage their expansion from 1 to 2 or 3 cmcs.
After reading the wiki entry (again) I'm going to try BOOM economics:p 1-100000, I'll take those odds colonizing luna and mars.
