Maybe it's an effect of the Naughty/Nice list.  Do you know which one you're on?

I'm getting a lump of sorium waste in my stocking, aren't I?

Yeah still can't do it.
What's weird is that it's persistent across browsers and devices and hotspots. Doesn't work here or at work, doesn't work on my laptop or my desktop, doesn't work on chrome or firefox.

I might just create a new account. Or I'll just start posting everything on this thread.
My Theodidactus, now I see that you are excessively simple of mind and more gullible than most. The Crystal Sphere you seek cannot be found in nature, look about you...wander the whole cosmos, and you will find nothing but the clear sweet breezes of the great ethereal ocean enclosed not by any bound

Now that Christmas is over, I'm curious whether there's news on the backup.  Just wondering so I can start reposting stuff if we aren't going to get one.

I've been sick this entire week. So nothing has been looked at. Go ahead and repost if you wish.

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Looks like this:

I did not get this by starting a new thread by the way, but just by trying to reply to one. I am happy I could at least reply here for some reason, because otherwise I would have just fallen silent and vanished.

After just this text in a reply, I already got an error, not mentioning what was to come after:
...screw that, I cannot copy it in here without getting an error here too. Well, I can tell that the letter count was 2241 without text extras such as links quotes, or styles, so only the sign count seems to be what is too much. (former limit was 10k with clear mentioning that this was a limit, rather than just some error)

Update: It is not the sign count, as I experienced errors with smaller texts, but could post larger ones once the composition had changed. I was able to prevent an error window by removing some brackets like these (), but the symbol alone does not cause the error, as you can read this. The brackets appeared random in a stream of nonsensical signs, so I really cannot deduce any pattern.

Yepp, so my newest and final results: This is completely redonkulous. There is literally no rule to when there is an error or not. It happens always at the same moments, but yet still somehow no pattern.
So I was replying to a message and updating the text by one additional word at a time to see when and what would cause an error. ...I got 3 words, and it would always bug out at that exact same position.
I just tried to put in a copy of that text here, but yes, it results in the above error, so here it is as picture:

If I wrote "from", error. If not, fine. There is no special sign, no function, style, or sign count. It just doesn't like this word. It is not that the word gets blacklisted though, nope. From from from. You can write that. Just in this constellation, it somehow causes an error after only 277 signs. If I write another word than "from" in the text above however, it works.
So, yes, redonkulous, and completely nonsensical.

I've scoured the options and settings, and I can find nothing that would cause these issues.

Hmm, it is definitely something here, because I do not have ever encountered problems like this, which includes of course the present of other places. Since Theodidactus saw the same error window once, there is some chance that his error was related to the same issue and only incidentally fell on new thread creation.(if this error is anything, then random :P)
So I challenge Theodidactus to copy this text and try to post it here.

Hopefully this gets through now. Piece by piece until there is an error.

Could you elaborate a little more on this? The eventual slowdown of the game is starting to get to me  :-\

Well, aside
Add "from", and see what explodes or not.

I also had the error when making my first report here btw., but I do not remember what caused it exactly, only that it had nothing to do with "from" and was slightly over 500 signs(/just to prove that this has no influence). I thought I could not write here again for some time before this was fixed.

Getting the same 404 when trying to continue my AAR.

Seems to be length of text related in my case.

Here, too, wrote more at first, but got 404...

Strange, now the message is longer than what I initially wrote, but obviously no problems...

And still no go with the AAR update

Oh, so it applies to everyone it seems. Really weird problem with that there is no pattern, but just some unaccepted letter combinations or something like that.
@CharonJr : I also thought it was sign count at first, but tested around and then found the same thing. If I simply erased the word that was causing trouble after the above quote, I could continue writing no problem for quite some length. In another text then I could remove the blockade by just deleting some brackets "(" that were randomly placed in between nonsense.
