Missiles and fire control issues

I am having problems with my Guderian fighters, I have launched several missiles at a oncoming enemy fighter formation and are trying to fire the rest of my Anti fighter missiles. I am assigning missiles to a launcher, assigning launcher a target and then fires, after 5 seconds I get the message "the fighter suite is targeting the enemy target" but all of my assigned launcher are now unassigned...
I have targeted the same enemy for all of my fire controls on the hope that when the first target is killed the rest will attack independently at the almost 100 fighters coming my way. I have fired several volleys from several fighters but most are  launchers are dropping out...

DO you have auto-fire enabled? If so, disable it as it is bugged as **** currently.
Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.
