loss of Population
« on: September 23, 2013, 09:07:13 AM »
   Hello all...

I have recently started a new 6.0 game and am in the early stages of the eleventh year of the game and have
continued to have this problem.    My capital planet has a 5.0+ spare population and my colony Task Group is not
doing anything.    One month later it is down to 1.0+ spare population ??? and a planet I am having infrastructure place on has a population of now 1.5+. ??? :o    Now another month later my capital has a population of -0.87 and it
is still dropping....   WTF is going on?????    HELP!!!

The colony cost is 0.0?
Are you looking at the growth numbers? Or population?
There is nothing like atmospheric dust or anything?
Population is content? All of your production modifiers are 100%?

Erik,

No, two of my colonies are 1.65 and 0.8751 and my home system the three worlds are 0.0.   BUT, I have found the problem.    Under the Civilians / Ind Status at the bottom there are three radial buttons:     Destination of colonists,  Source of Colonists, and Stable.    The Source of Colonists was selected so I changed it to stable...    The population is now growing....

Thanks for the thought though
