Jumping
« on: April 23, 2020, 11:32:41 AM »
Ok, so i figured out how to jump with jump drive, i have read other topics about jump gates and that commercial can use military but not the other way around, i have also read about the jump tenders, but i have no idea is the jump tender a stabilisation for the jump point, and also a jump gate at the same time? or du i need to have jump engines also?
And the stabilisation is for a few days at a time or is it always? it says 360 days jump point stabilisation.

Stabilization is permanent, 360 is how long it will take. That depends on stabilization module, there are better ones that stabilize jump point faster.

Jump tender is simply a name. It can be whatever you want it to be. Depedns what you equip a ship with. For most players i think Jump Tender is ship that assists other ships with jumping.

Yes when it is stabilized any ship can get through. Don't forget to stabilize both sides of jump point.

Or better, make sure you only stabilize one side of the jump point...

A jump tender is simply a ship with a jump drive which allows other ships to jump without jump drive.  IIRC you can use it like a jump gate if you park it at the jump point, or you can assign it to a fleet to your liking.
