Ship Design Spreadsheet

I created a spreadsheet to aid in ship design, in order to optimize engine parameters for a given hull size, speed, and range. I just uploaded it to Google Docs. If anyone wants to add more functionality, feel free to make a copy to edit & share.

I can't really see how this can be useful, as there are no stats for Commercial, or military engines, no stats for armour, and no stats for jump drives.

I created it for a specific purpose, which was to maximize payload for a given hull size, range and target speed. By adjusting the options you can determine the optimal engine power modifier, how much fuel you need, and how much space you have left over.
