--- The Invocation is a Spy Ship, which is a type of ship I came up with that is used for surveillance and the carriage, insertion / extraction of Espionage Teams. Spy Ships carry massive Passive Sensor arrays, alongside a single Active Sensor which itself is big, hot and extremely long-ranged. Spy Ships also carry one large weapon for self defense. Spy Ships have Hangar Space for Insertion Craft, which are Cloaked and used for the insertion of Espionage Teams. Spy Ships are also Cloaked themselves. Spy Ships can be Jump Capable, but don't have to be and are typically meant to be kitted out for long deployments. They carry minimal armor, but adequate shields to be raised if fighting is unavoidable. The shields should be strong enough to stop a missile that would penetrate twice as much armour as the Spy Ship is layered with. Spy Ships ought to carry a Marine compliment. Spy Ships can alternatively be outfitted with a large missile launcher for long-range stealth genocide, a troop compliment for seizing outposts, or small non-cloaked scouts, shuttles or a combination of the two to achieve or augment their mission profile. Missiles with Active Sensors work best, and a Spy Ship with a large missile launcher can skip the Active Sensor element by integrating it the asm itself, by using a two-stage missile with a probe stage and an ASM stage, or by using two large launchers to launch a probe and then an ASM.

The Benediction-Class Insertion Craft:
---------------------------------------------

Code: [Select]
Benediction class Insertion Craft    500 tons     6 Crew     224.25 BP      TCS 2.5  TH 24  EM 0

Maint Life 2.01 Years     MSP 28    AFR 20%    IFR 0.3%    1YR 9    5YR 139    Max Repair 168.75 MSP
Intended Deployment Time: 0.5 months    Spare Berths 6

150 EP Internal Fusion Drive (1)    Power 150    Fuel Use 383.43%    Signature 24    Exp 25%
Fuel Capacity 200,000 Litres    Range 18.8 billion km   (14 days at full power)

Cloaking Device: Class cross-section reduced to 25% of normal
This design is classed as a Fighter for production, combat and maintenance purposes

Very flavourful. However... cloaking devices and reduced-footprint engines mean you pay through the nose to reduce visibility.
Splitting capability into several craft does the same thing for free, I'd offload what I can to FACs/fighters.
