Steve, I know you are using VB6 to code Aurora. Have you thought about using toolbars to replicate or take place of a lot of the larger buttons? VB6 (if I recall) does have a native toolbar component. I think the System display screen would benefit most from this, though I could see it on the Economic and Tactic screens also.

I need to look at all the UI aspects of Aurora. Like SA, a lot of changes have resulted in something of a mismash in terms of UI style. I'll look at toolbars and I will also give some serious thought to overall UI design once v3.2 is out.
