Regen Quality

Another question that has come up:  would those of you who are/would like to participate in this like an option to wait for a 'decent-quality' character instead of just taking the next one that comes up?  This would require longer to be put into the game in some cases, but also would give you more chance of a glorious, possibly more interesting career. 

Any opinions on this one way or the other?

When Karabishi is inevitably retired, I'd like to have my next character have the highest or second highest research rate bonus in his field of research. And not in the fields of Construction/Production, Logistics/Ground Combat, or Biology/Genetics. So, maybe?

I think giving the option for that couldn't hurt as long as you can keep it straight.
