Ordnance transfer system is for missile transfer, shuttles are for supplies and refuelling system of course for fuel.

MSP abbreviation is used both for missile size and supplies so it is a bit confusing.

So Ordnance Transfer System: 80 MSP per Hour means that it transfer 80 units of size 1 missiles or 40 size 2 missiles per hour.

To be honest I was not really sure as there was nothing telling exactly how it was suppose to work... but I believe you and I will try it eventually so I know for sure.

You can check here for maintenance supplies: http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=8495.msg109593#msg109593
Here for ordnance: http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=8495.msg104195#msg104195

Thanks... I was searching for that and failed to find it... :)

Yes you need cargo shuttles and it needs to be designated as a supply ship.

I have not been playing as much as mostly testing... but is it not Ordnance transfer system that transfer MSP rather than Cargo Bays.. I might just have misunderstood that and I have not gone around to actually transfer any MSP between ships yet.

Is there a way to transfer maintenance supplies (MSP) from one ship to another?

Longer version: I've built a large space station to support my warships. I forgot to set it to a support ship so my ships run out of MSPs. I've set the station to support station and now I want to replenish my ships. I can't. There is an order to refuel and to reload ordnance but nothing about a resupply. The station itself has an order to resupply other task forces but it does not seem to work. I can see nothing relating to transfer of MSPs in the research window.
