You might want to check the C# development thread.
7.2 isn't going to be released for the old Visual basic Aurora.
Instead Steve is completely rewriting the game in a language more suited for running Aurora, and without using a database resulting in 1000 times faster processing.
Changes intended for 7.2 will be in the new version, as well as many others, development seems surprisingly far, but don't expect a release any time soon.

And for reference Steve's last post was about 2 weeks ago. He's been quite actively discussing things with the community.

7.2 probably won't be released. It will be Aurora#, Aurora 8, or whatever Steve decides the new version is called when he releases the C# version.
