Missiles Reengaging?
« on: February 20, 2015, 12:27:17 PM »
Hey there. So I started watching missiles real close while flying. And from time to time, some missiles appear to (assuming theyre fast enough and have range) turn and track targets and take second and 3rd attempts at hitting.
Do missiles actually get extra chances to hit? Or are they just turning around like that because of the 5sec increments?

As far as I'm aware, if a missile misses the target it's removed from the game. If on the screen missiles appear to move past their targets and then turn around, it's probably just a side effect of the time increments.

However, if missiles have built in sensors and their target is destroyed, they will attempt to acquire new targets and home in on those.
