Stockpiles on Earth is fast becoming scarce with China is the only nation not suffering a shortage at some point in time. Automated mines on asteroids or comets have been the only source for most the minerals. Some moon have minerals in great quantity but such poor access that its not worth the limited automated mines.
The only minerals left were Neutroium and Bornode, however even these would expire in three years.
CHINA2031
China goals for the next three years is to focus on more mines and faster production. Once again military has taken a back seat. A new Spy team is sent to Infiltrate the Imperium. China steals Geo survey data from OPAB

The spy team was lost in the Imperium. China once again steal geo survey data from OPAB, probably due to OPAB lack to patch the backdoor they previously entered.

The spy team steals Grav Survey from OPAB, a grav survey ship is not need to grab the jump points from Sol. China then suffers a crippling Duranium shortage and starts to mine a small comet on Reinmuth, however China is desperate to maintain adequate maintenance everything else has stopped.
China completes Gen 3 Construction and Production research across the board. The intelligence community finished off the year with another theft this time of the King Cobra missiles from the CSU.

CSU goals are to put more mines on Tempel-Tuttle, upgrade the corvettes with Gen 4 sensor packages, the new sensor packages enabled a another engine to be included and a extra layer of new armour, to the CSu they just extended the life on there corvettes another 10 years for little minerals and resources. Work on Construction and Production research aimed to raise it to Gen 3, however this would take two years to complete.

The Imperium is in a serious bind they have Zero Corundium and Duranium stocks on earth more Auto mines are need on Chernyh, however they freigther is slow and difficult to catch the comet on the outbound from earth. Research is shifted to more mineral production. A new spy team infiltrates the OPAB

Imperium steals grav survey Data from OPAB, even they did have a single ship providing data this will save on fuel and time. Noting there is only four jump points and NPS are buildig a jump point on Jump point 2 and OPAb is building jump gates on the other three, give the Imperium with Concerns. It will not be held in this solar system by OPAB or petty politics. The Corundium issue will be resolved and the next order is a jump capable survey ship. Kirak II will be mothballed once the new science vessel is complete.

The Imperium steals Swordfish Missile from OPAB. This missile range and speed caused great concern to the Imperial High Command. The beam frigate now needed an escort to shoot down these missiles, however priority has been given to a science vessel. There is just nor resources to design two they will need to tread carefully as the Imperium are suffering many weaknesses.

With the Corundium stockpile depleted, having to move mines from Mars to 2007UK126, but the main goal is to explore the Jump Points it had found. the stealing of Crigenic Transport from the Imperium was a bonus, if they were going to find colonizable planet this would be a priority soon

The NPS launched it two jump capable Corvettes that started Military exercises before entering into JP2. After Stealing the Kiev class information from the Imperium, The NPS were excited to see they were ahead in many aspects and the NPS now started feel it was out of the rut it first began in.

The NPS activate a team to OPAB. The covettes launch into the jump point and discovers a new system, a binary system with no planets. The NPS name it the Matthew system after the first book in the New testament.
With the NPS was interested in locating a new planet, it made a pack with OPAB, that they would enter the other jump points and that both countries would have equal rights in any planet to mine. the concern in the OPAB in their own minerals stocks agreed to such a pack.
Research in the Ion drive completed little did they know they completed this stage before any other faction.
Jump point 4 turned into 21 Areitis system, described by the SYOANS. Thirteen planet system, four planets and 3 moons could support colonies. One of these must be home to the hostile race. The crusader fleet did not want to stick around and give themselves up as a target. They reported there finding back to OPAB as promised. Jump Point 1 was selected as the new jump for the NPS and OPAB, this was found to be a single sun with a spiral of asteroids. Not much in the way of planets, another disappointment. The new system was left as Ross 248, as the OPAB would name the systems that their jump gates held as per the agreement.
OPAB2031
Suffering a shortage of Duranium, the OPAB stopped all production managed the minimal minerals coming from the comets. Stealing the new CSU upgraded Corvette Specifications the OPAB felt that their bombers sqn's could overwhelm it and destroy the corvettes which were still notable slow at 1500km/s

Completing a Jump Gate, was a great story amougst the OPAB but at this stage without a craft was a hollow victory. A warning was sent to all faction not to send craft into OPAB held jump points. Since only NPS has a working Jump vessel and it own jump point this was not creating too much tension at this stage.
The spy team steals King Cobra Class AMM from CSU, the missile can travel at 8,000 at 7.9 km, this slightly outranges it own missile. Missile to Missile the king cobra could take the swordfish down, a new antiship missile would be developed after the jump scout vessel was completed.
The indomitable was designed, however the fleet was not entirely happy with design but they need to put a jump ship in play else NPS would beat them to the punch in future systems.

Spy team activated in China. OPAB were favourable to NPS deal as they were still 12 month away from their own jump capable vessel being launched. A team steals Cryogenic transport from the CSU, however another team is captured in the Imperium

Are only getting back on their feet the previous 3 years were mining delays with a shortage of Duranium, focus on mining and construction research had become a priority. Plans for a strike back have been put off for another three years until they can sort of there mineral production shortages.
