Largest Asteroid Fields?

So I got a system with 654 asteroids in one giant belt. What is the largest asteroid fields that you guys have found?

I've seen asteroid numbers within and over the 900s. After I while I usually hide asteroids and don't really check for their numbers.

Meanwhile we have over 4000 comets and theres over 750,000 asteroids with enough information to be given numbered designations. Now that would leave the map very cluttered.

and here I SM explore a system if at has more than 100 roids in it >_<

Lol, if Aurora had an accurate representation of the Sol system, I would never leave! As it is, I'm 50 years into my current game and haven't explored a single JP.  Too much to do in Sol first :P

Yeah, pretty much this.

Its a shame that you cant really mod Aurora - i would love to up the grav sensors and jump drives costs like tenfold. Multi national starts on Earth would be even more awesome that way.
