Turning on Transponders in C#
« on: February 03, 2021, 05:32:04 PM »
Greetings! I've recently picked up playing Aurora again, and I'm loving it as much as I remember. C# is quite new for me, though, and I'm still getting the hang of some mechanics, as well as where to find certain buttons. Which brings me to my question: I remember it being possible to turn transponders on/off on the Task Group screen. I can't find a similar option on the naval organization screen. Could anyone point me to the location of that button, so I can feel silly for missing it? I know it's possible to use a movement order to turn it on/off, but that won't be immediate enough for my present situation.

AFAIK, you have to use the movement order to do it.

You can make a waypoint right next to the fleet and issue the order there, so it will happen in the next increment.

Ah, that's a pity, but thanks for the swift response!
