Title: Stars traveling faster tha a speeding bullet

Take a look at this article.  I don't think this will affect any 4x games because of timescale but it could be an interesting feature of a system.  Such a star is not likely to have planets.

Interesting article.  In the context of Aurora any effect would be dictated by the exact relationship between WPs and the star.  If the WPs are associated with the star then they are part of the same frame of reference as the star and, as such, are moving at the same velocity as the star itself. In this case there would be no effect within Aurora as the relationship between star systems is dictated by their WP connectivity and not their relative velocities.  If the WPs were not associated with the star they would have been left behind by the star long ago; in fact, as all star systems have a velocity (they revolve around the galactic centre of mass if nothing else) this argument applies to all systems.

That was a long winded way of saying no need to worry for Aurora  :D
