According to the BBcode FAQ, these images should appear. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Oh cool new stuff - starting small I see :)

Is it intentional that the small jump drive is just 100 tons too small for the survey ships?

Edited to fix the img links. BMPs won't show. You had extra spaces between the brackets and the image url.

Re: the image.  I don't know what a Roman eagle SHOULD look like, but the one I saw here looked more like a constipated parrot.  Oi!

And I designed the jump engines before the ships so I didn't match them up. Jump ships will probably not be using the smaller engine. I desgning it anyway because the startup rules I am using are 100,000 research point for background tech and unlimited research points for systems based on that tech.

Finding a Roman flag proved difficult :)  I will update it if I find anything better.

Interesting.  Missile Launchers, Fighter bases, fighter factories, and no missile technology or fighter technology.

Also, I note that the research budget doesn't involve paying for Grav or Geo Sensors, Internal Armor and a few other technologies.

Planetary missile launchers, fighter factories and fighter bases are added to every starting race. How long they take to make use of them is up to the race. Basic geo and grav sensors are included as starting systems for every race.

The double-headed eagle on crimson background dates from the Byzantine period rather than the Roman Republic.

Thanks for the flag pictures. I have added most of them to the flags for Aurora and used the central portion of the SPQR flag for the Romans. I'll edit it into the origanal post and leave the constipated parrot in this post for posterity :)
