Ok, for today I thought I would let you guys know how I run the Great Powers. It's an ever changing RNG system that is tailored to each power uniquely. As in its based on the actions their leadership might take. If any of you have suggestions on a different way, I would love to hear them!

[ooc]I must say the population advantage the Empire of Japan and the Ottoman Empire is making the once strong FSNA look rather pathetic. [/ooc]

April 16th Exploration of the Alien Ruins on Barnard A-II continues slowly, no major progress towards deciphering their language has happened. The Two Xenologist teams on planet equate it to trying to understand Egyptian hieroglyphs without the Rosetta stone.  The FSNA expands its influence to Mercury establishing an automated mining colony on the surface.


May 16th The Empire of Japan launches its first state-ran colony ships, they immediately dock with Earth to pick up passengers and head out to Titan. The Empire of Japan has also finished research into more maneuverable missiles. The Ottoman Empire finally begins integrating the population of the German Reich into full Ottoman citizens, they are now subjugated. The Empire of Japan’s Military Task Force is due for completion in June.


June 20th The FSNA Main Council is debriefed on the fact that the Empire of Japan know has functional military space-vessels. They react with their usual contempt for the other Great Powers and say that the vessels are no threat to the ones they have stationed in orbit of Earth, even though they say this, they commission three more Lexingtons to built by their shipyards. The Ottoman Empire completes research into experimental ion engines and begins designing a proto-type for new missiles, and new ships. The Missile designs are christened SBASM-001 Ifrit, which is a 7 warhead strength missile, that can go 24,400 km/s, the second is called the SBAAM-001 Tear, it is a Anti-Missile Interceptor, and lastly we have the PDCASM-001 Armageddon, which is a warhead strength 10 missile, that can go 30,900 km/s making it the fastest missile designed by humanity at this point in time. It only has a range of 32.4 million kilometers, which is its major drawback and why it is a PDC Anti-Ship Missile. The Ottoman Empire also begins work on a short range fighter and a carrier after a suggestion from the Empire of Japan in a recent defense meeting.

July 21st The FSNA finishes research in the levitated-pit implosion warhead, which is the first major advancement they had made in several years. The Empire of Japan finishes research into an Enhanced Radiation Warhead for its missiles. The Ottoman Empire has just figured out how to use highly focused microwave beams in order to damage enemy electronics. The Empire of Japan has also just finished training its first three Heavy Assault Battalions on Earth.


August 21st The Ottoman Empire has finished researching Missile Launcher Reload Rate 2, the Empire of Japan has finished their research into experimental railguns for ships. The Chadwick Container group has launched a new colony ship, and the Perrault Colony Corporation has launched three new Freighters. The population of Barnard A-11 has reach 1.7 million.


September 21st The Ottoman Empire have built two new commercial shipyards and set them to continually expand, they have finished research into flagbridge enabling them to create command vessels. GSV Hoffen finally completes its overhaul and heads out to the Barnard system to perform a grav survey of it. The FSNA completes its ground survey of Io no new minerals are found. The Empire of Japan starts its ground survey of Titan.


October 21st The FSNA begins a purge of its military. The Ottoman Empire completes research into levitated-pit warhead technology with help from the Empire of Japan. Luna reaches 25 million in population, although it is right in the danger zone if a conflict arises on Earth.


22nd November The FSNA launches 5 more colony ships. The Ottoman Empire completes research into larger mesons, and the Perrault Colony Corporation launches a large spaceliner. A civilian mining colony has been established on Comas Sola.


December 22nd Retooling for the Aydin is finished on Earth, construction of carrier begins immediately. The Empire of Japan finishes research into a better Radiation Warhead for their missiles. The Ottoman Empire finishes research into capacitor recharge rate 2.


January 22nd The Empire of Japan finishes research into several projects, the ion drive, Fusion-Boosted Fission Warhead, and capacitor recharge rate 2. The Ottoman Empire has also launched several fighters which immediately hide themselves in a PDC to keep them from being detected by the FSNA. The FSNA begins drawing up the final plans for an attack on the Empire of Japan.


21th February The FSNA military fleet in orbit of Earth open fires on the one from the Empire of Japan, all the commercial vessels flee from Earth Orbit. Within seconds Earth erupts in a hailfire of nuclear weapons. The ships of the Empire of Japan survive the first wave of missiles and begin to return fire as do the PDCs of the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan. The FSNA Titan PDC takes an absolute beating as 10 other PDCs fire on it all it once, after 4 minutes of fighting the PDC is reduced to rubble along with FSNA’s leadership and 50% of their ground forces. Soon after its ships in orbit disappear in a fiery ball as they meet their doom at the hands of the combined forces of the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan. Soon the ground forces of the FSNA come under automatic bombardment and our almost reduced to rubble, firing of nuclear weapons ceases.


March 6th The remaining forces of the FSNA are putting up major resistance to the advances of the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan


March 16th Brigadier General Alex Mahmood rallies the remaining 3 units of the FSNA to protect the capital, but all appears to be lost.


March 21st The last unit of the FSNA army has fallen in a desperate last stand to hold the ruins of their destroyed PDC. The Population of the FSNA on Earth and in its colonies surrenders as do its ships. Many techs are captured mostly in the area of planet based sensors

Found it, it either the lower of the ships speed or the fire control speed, but at least the basic researched fire control speed. So it seems that you have researched control speed 2000, otherwise the lower ship speed would have been used.

For non-turreted weapons the ship speed and the tracking tech - which seems to be 2k in your case - IIRC. There was a thread about it not too long ago I think.

Just a quick question if you dont mind, is the Deutschlands tracking system deliberately outpacing the lasers tracking speed (8k vs. 2k) or have you just missed the speed difference?

Ohh, wow.... I must've missed that and it seems I did it on another design.. What exactly affects the laser tracking speed, same with meson?

August 7th the Empire of Japan believes it is time for it to venture into space having acquired a significant amount of tech over the past few years. They design their first classes of ships, and lay them down in their significantly expanded shipyards. The Empire of Japan lays down a total of 15 ships, 7 of which are combat vessels.


September 6th The Empire of Japan finishes its 4th PDC, and the missiles to stock it. They finish developing a cargo handling system. The FSNA has managed to hack into the computer network of the Empire of Japan and steal designs of a better missile launcher. Earth is also reaching critical levels on Mercassium  prompting the Empire of Japan and the Ottoman Empire to set up a joint effort to set up mining colonies on asteroids and moons in the outer system. The FSNA responds by dropping approximately 80 automines on venus over the next month.


September 9th Transit! The crew of the Brandenberg arrives in a system designated as Barnards Star A, it is a singular star system, with an incredibly interesting planet. Barnards Star A-2 is an Ideal Habitable World. Scans show that it has a present biosphere and water as well!  The crew of the Brandenberg quickly transit back to Sol and deliver the news to Fatih Aras, who sits there speechless for a few minutes, before responding by saying, “This is the pinnacle of what Humanity could ever hope to find, and it can be our second home as a race. A place without the bickering of Humanities old empires..” He quickly claims the planet for the Ottoman Empire and sends notice to Karababa that they can enter and colonize the system.


September 13th As the Brandenberg approaches the planet it notices that there is a partially intact installation on the surface, they race back to Sol, where Fatih Aras reacts with a calm voice to them, before sending them off to complete shore leave. Privately he curses to himself. Humanity was not alone, and that meant that their infighting was a liability to them.


September 16th The Atmosphere of Mars is now  .21 ATMs.


September 24th A new corporation has been established in the Ottoman Empire, it calls itself the Perrault Colony Corporation. Faith Aras meets with its leaders and gives it a sizeable donation.


September 29th Perrault launches its first 3 colony ships into orbit of Earth.


October 7th Perrault launches 3 more colony ships.


October 20th The world jumps in alarm as the Destroyers of the FSNA turn on their active sensors without warning, but breathe a sigh of relief when they begin to move away from Earth and towards the outer system for some unspecified reason, in reality the FSNA had just finished Jump point theory, and as soon as they finished they detected a hostile jump through an unknown jump point and their ships are going to investigate it. On the other side of Earth, the Empire of Japan has also just finished its research into jump point theory.


3rd November Today is a big day for the Ottoman Empire, They’ve finally managed to get the population of the German Reich to except that they are their new rulers. The FSNA battle group reached the jump point, and as they approach it, it opens up and sucks them into it as they approach. As the ships jump they arrive in the system designated as Barnards Star, and as the ships disappear the Ottoman Empire’s command structure begins to panic, because that system holds their burgeoning out of system colony. The Ships transit back and deliver the info that system had a colony in it belonging to the Ottoman Empire.  The FSNA Main Council decide to confront the Ottoman Empire about this colony, but only get a cold shoulder about it. In secret the Empire of Japan and the Ottoman Empire hold a meeting where they decide to knock out the battle fleet of the FSNA as soon as possible, because of the instability that the FSNA has shown in Earthly politics.


November 22nd An espionage team from the Ottoman Empire is captured and executed by the FSNA. The Ottoman Empire also launches its first troop transport which picks up 4 construction brigades and begins transporting them to its out of system colony.


29th December Today, the Japanese Cargo Freighters broke with their shipyards, which means that the Empire of Japan is now a true TN power, they also finish research into a troop transport bay. In the Ottoman Empire 4 heavy assault battalions are trained and deployed, along with 2 Assault Battalions.


January 21st 1981 The Ottoman Empire completes its work in a new experimental reactor design. The FSNA begins conjuring plans for the annexation of both the Japanese and the Ottoman Empire.


February 22nd The FSNA completes its work into Composite Armor. It also finishes training 6 new Heavy Assault battalions. The Ottoman Empire finishes training a Mobile Infantry Battalion.


March 15th Earth comes upon its Mercassium Shortage which doesn’t affect the FSNA because of its Venus colony, but it hits the Empire of Japan and its cohort the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan also sign a research treaty with each other. The first Japanese Civilian Corporation launches a ship, a colony ship to be exact. The Japanese finish researching the sorium harvester module.

May 30th The original estimates for the amount of minerals on Venus are shown to have been extremely inaccurate. The FSNA Main Council is extremely pleased by the new minerals that have been found on Venus, and direct more infrastructure its way. Faith Aras also the headache of governing the newly acquired lands in Europe which encompass many different cultures, he eventually decides to let them elect governors based on districts, which are basically divided by culture groups. The Ottoman Empire and Japan have also forced the surrender of the German Ships in orbit of planet, and its two survey vessels quietly surrender as well.  The people who had been subjugated by the German Reich during WW2 were grateful to the Ottoman Empire and welcomed them with open arms, but unfortunately they were the minority these days, as the German Reich had committed mass genocide against the Slavs, the Hungarians, and The Greeks. The German populace on the other hand took up arms and started to fight back only to be crushed when Ottoman TN heavy armor vehicles roll into the area to act as a beginning occupation force while the garrison squadrons are trained.  The Ottoman Empire also walks away with a giant amount of wealth and captured technology amounting to 15 techs, along with the techs they also got 5 shipyards 3 naval and 2 commercial. One naval has 1 slipway with a capacity of 15,000, and the two others have 1 slipway and 10,000 capacity, while the first commercial one has 3 slipways and 80,000 capacity, and the other has 1 slipway with 50,000 capacity.


June 28th The Ottoman Empire delivers the first colony transport to the moon, Faith Aras gives a television speech to his people stating that with the newly acquired German tech and ships, and that they will push their new advantage and colonize the system. They also send the newly built Brandenberg to go and explore through the new jump points discovered from the German computer systems. The nations of Earth are also facing serious uprisings because of the nuclear fallout and dust that now covers the Earth, the FSNA has seen the worst of it having lost 12 million people to radiation thus far, although their population growth seems to be outpacing the deaths. The Ottoman Empire have also laid down their first colony ship in a shipyard captured from the German Reich, whose shipyards far outstrip the Ottoman Empire’s singular shipyard.


June 30th Transit! This is a great moment for Humanity, the first a human has ever travelled to another solar system! The system is the Binary star system known on Earth based star charts as Sirius, Sirius A has a terrestrial planet with Nitrogen-Oxygen Atmosphere, but it is relatively hot being 89 degrees Celsius at the equator.  Sirius B is unremarkable to the crew of the Brandenberg it only has on terrestrial planet, but it has a very hostile atmosphere and surface temperature, and most likely couldn’t be terraformed. The Brandenberg then transits back into Sol to deliver the news to Fatih Aras. He takes the news very happily, especially since it appeared that Sirius A 3 was a prime candidate for terraforming and colonization, but he remarked that they would have to wait for a geological survey to be completed to truly find out if it was worth it. The FSNA High Command though is having a fit at the sudden disappearance then reappearance of the newly acquired Ottoman ship, because they have no way to explain what just happened. The Brandenberg is ordered to check out the rest of the jump points discovered before reporting back to him, and to only report back after a jump if they find something incredibly important. The FSNA is also celebrating the fact the temperature on Mars is now above 1 degree Celsius


July 3rd The First civilian colony ships have been launched by the newly created Karababa Corporation. Faith Aras is pleased at how fast they can turn out ships compared to the slow moving German Shipyards, but that is to be expected since they were only recently conquered. The number of reservations for colony ships off Earth in the FSNA have reached an all time high, with there being way to many for the FSNA to keep up, prompting them to build more colony ships.


July 8th Transit! The Brandenberg arrives in what is designated as Proxima Centauri, a singular m6-v class star. It has 3 terrestrial planets, one of which stuns the crew of the Brandenberg as they scan it, it already has a biosphere, but after further scanning it has a gravity of 2.18, which isn’t suitable to humanity and they transit back to sol without reporting this news.


July 12th The Karababa Corporation launchers 3 more ships all luxury cruiseliners, Faith Aras commends the corporation for taking the initiative for the future of humanity and awards them 5,000 credits.


July 20th The Karababa Corporation launches yet another 3 colony ships, its ability to churn out ships greatly outpaces the ability of the Ottoman Shipyards right now, but that will change in the future.


August 1st Transit! The crew of the Brandenberg find themselves in the WISE 1506+7027 system. The System itself is relatively uninspiring, although it has a lot of planets; none of them are easily colonisable.


August 6th Two more Lexington-class Destroyers from the FSNA launch today, although unknown to FSNA all of their firepower near earth is completely outmatch by what the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan can bring to the table if they attack them near earth.

In SM mode, at the bottom of the Population and Production screen, is a button marked "Transfer". That ought to do what you want. You can also do it the normal way of having the Ottoman troops occupy the Reich with sufficient ground forces. I don't know if this will absorb the Reich's assets into the Ottoman's, or if you will have two separate populations, both owned by the Ottomans.

[ooc]This is the second post for today, also I thought I would share with you guys a few of the settings for this campaign.          It uses the jump gates on all jump points, this is for the story purposes since I have everyone's favorite spoilers enabled the Precursors.         In story they had already explored all of the galaxy by the time they fell apart, and they had also discovered a technology that allowed them to stabilize the jump points, although that technology is no longer attainable.        I'll start things off by posting the ship designs.        [/ooc]

August 23rd Today 8 new ships were launched that are under the dominion of the FSNA 5 freighters that are controlled directly by them and 3 Freighters that are civilian operated.    Also, to the delight of the FSNA High Command and Main Council, their PDC has been built, and they have immediately begun moving all command structures to the inside of the mountain base.    They also have the missiles to stock it, whereas the Ottoman Empire is still in the process of building theirs.    


September 23rd   The transition of the FSNA capital to the newly built Titan PDC, meanwhile The Ottomans have both their PDCs up and running, and have the FSNA believing that they only built one such facility.   The Japanese have also designed their first meson weapon after a couple of months of designing and upgrading the base weapon. 


October 6th The Ottoman Empire has finished transferring its governing offices into their two PDCs, in order to lessen the likely hood of one nuclear strike rendering their nation governance-less. 


October 16th Yet another jump point found by the German Reich.  


October 29th The German Reich has completed its work on an experimental fire control system that can target objects going 3000 km/s at base size, although Harri Mahlberg is not altogether impressed with this, since they are lacking in the missile defense department.   He orders his scientists to begin work on upgrading their missile systems to be the most advanced on the planet.  (also starting now, the espionage rules are in affect.  )


December 4th The Japanese have activated their first state of the art PDC.   Their PDC is armed with the Fukushima Kakuheiki Missiles, which are the most advanced missiles that humanity has available to them at this current moment, and the Japanese Tribunal Council is well aware of this fact, even if the other Great Powers are left in their dark at their true missile capabilities along with their ship building ones.   The Japanese Tribunal Council also begins its elections for its new head of council, Nakatoni, Saru is appointed Head of Council.   He is described by many as an aggressive and decisive man, without a somewhat gloomy disposition on life. 


January 4th 1980 The German Reich finishes the first of its TN military units, Harri Mahlberg promises his people that this will be the first of many to be joining the ranks of the German Military.   Meanwhile the Japanese continue to gain an edge in the missile department having developed a way for their missiles to more easily change directions after being fired. 


February 5th Harri Mahlberg is greeted in his office by a scientist, who gives him a folder and then walks away.   Harri opens it and finds out that because of the number of research labs no assigned to missile upgrades that within the past month they now have the ability to make missile magazines.   He puts down the folder and smiles to himself.   He was one step closer to dominance.   Meanwhile Nakatoni Saru has managed to increase the factory output of his nation by 30%. 


March 5th This was a very hectic month.   Three Freighters broke from their German Shipyards in orbit of Earth.   The FSNA completed their upgrade to their Military Academy, and they also completed research into more sensitive Grav Sensors.   Also, despite their brave efforts the german espionage team has been gunned down in Japanese held Seoul, Harri Mahlberg had the unfortunate captain who reported this to him sent to the firing squads.   The Ottoman Empire on the other hand managed to hack into the computer systems of the German Reich and steal their info on most every TN ground military unit, besides a marine brigade. 


April 14th The Empire of Japan has completed work into Cyrogenic Transport Containers and has set up to design a Freighter and a Colony Ship.    The German Reich and the Ottoman Empire had a border Skirmish happen that has left both empires populaces screaming for blood, hopefully this won’t result in war. 


May 4th 1980 The Ottoman Empire comes across a major breakthrough in theoretical science, they have proven without a doubt that Jump Points exist.   The Empire of Japan Finishes training 4 TN military units, and begins to train even more.   The German Reich declares open war on the Ottoman Empire over the border incident.   The Fatih Aras orders his PDCs to stand down for now, but tells them to ready their nukes for launch in case things start going badly.   He also puts in a call for his allies the Japanese to help him this.   They agree on the terms of giving them their newest research project which is the Jump point theory. 


May 9th The Ottoman Empire Manages to repel the German Reich’s Blitzkreig through the use of mass of aerial bombing of the German Units.   The Ottoman Empire then engages in a joint military attack with their Ally in Japan. 


May 16th The German Reich is under constant pressure from the Japanese and The Ottoman Empire, who have now successfully invaded up through the Balkans into Hungary. 


May 21st  07:00 1980 The war has tipped in favor of the German Reich who have rallied under the direct command of Harri himself and pushed the Ottoman Empire and Japan back down into Anatolia, but Japan scared at a potential push into Anatolia has launched missiles at the German Reich emplacements in Greece. 


May 21st 08:00 1980 The Akagi PDC fires 2 Missiles at the German Emplacements on the Greece-Anatolia border.   The Missiles directly hit the emplacements destroying all the German units, Harri only managed to survive by a miracle.  


May 21st 08:01 1980 This time 4 missiles are launched straight at the German Mainland, they hit in a relatively unoccupied area in Poland, causing minor damage to infrastructure, the Japanese PDCs are now ordered to stand down. 


May 25th 1980 The German Reich agrees to a peace treaty with the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan, Effective this moment the German Reich is now a permanent part of the Ottoman Empire.   It had no power left to object, since it had lost its entire military and its leader had died of radiation poisoning 2 days ago.   The FSNA is furious over the nuclear attack on the German Reich and its annexation, because it now had to deal with protecting its citizens from nuclear fallout and temperature drop threatened their food supplies.

January 6th Today the scientists of the Ottoman Empire made a major breakthrough in reactor technology, the scientists of the Ottoman Empire proceeded to share their design with Fatih Aras, who responded in his usual manner.   He asked what the practical uses for this reactor were, when the rest of the Great Powers were zooming ahead in weapons technology, the scientists responded by telling him that it would allow them to power more non-missile weapons on ships, and that it would allow them to test experimental engine designs that require the increase of reactor output to function.   Fatih Aras sighed and sent them off and returned to his office where he called the weapon design department to begin working a new laser design for a ship. 


February 6th The scientists of the Ottoman Empire have made a breakthrough in sensor technology designed to be able to target and destroy the new missiles that have been tested in near earth orbit by the FSNA, they also begin design on a PDC that will be capable of defending Ottoman territory in the event of an attack by the FSNA which according to recent espionage has just finished construction of new nuclear missile base in the Rocky Mountains.   The FSNA Board of Terraforming also manages to get increase of .  001 ATMs a year to .  0012 ATMs a year from its Terraforming centers on Mars, and it also reports to the main council that a ship-based module will be available in 1980.   In Europe the German Reich finally completes what is needed to launch a successful colonization of another body in the Solar System and presses its claim on the moon, which by this point has been surveyed by everyone, but Japan.   The other powers let them press their claim, because of the meager amount of minerals there.    Furher Harri Mahlberg also creates a team of geologists that will be transferred to the moon to perform a surface appraisal of Luna’s mineral wealth. 


March 6th The Empire of Japan stunned the world when it tested its first Implosion Fission Warhead in NEO, so the rest of the Great Powers had thought that Japan had been entirely focusing on its economy and had completely caught them off guard.   This development causes the FSNA to add more of its industrial capacity to the completion of the Titan-class PDC outside of Idaho Springs, Colorado.   The Fatih Aras on the other sighs a sigh of relief with this news, as it means that Japan can now keep its Defense Pact with his nation.   The Ottoman Empire also finishes the final test for the GTC-001 Ildrentir missile, which has a warhead strength of 9, and a max speed of 8500 km/s, which will allow the Ottoman’s PDCs to initiate almost instant nuclear feedback to any hostile attack on them or Japan. 


April 6th The FSNA finally gets a good report from its corporation, they have established a mining colony on Venus, and stand ready to transport infrastructure and colonists as demanded.   The FSNA fully integrating Brazil and Uruguay into itself greatly boosting its population, and it also laid down two more Lexington-class destroyers in order to supply more protection to its Mars colony. 


May 6th Today marks a great day for Humanity! The Jump Point Survey Ship Hoffen has broke with its shipyard and has begun surveying the system for jump points.   Harri Mahlberg although decides to keep its mission and purpose a secret to all but a few of his most trusted generals, admirals, and advisors.   Harri also orders the creation of a civilian shipping line for the private use of the German Reich. 


June 6th The FSNA colony on Venus is off to good, start the deployment of infrastructure is easily keeping up with the demand for spots on the colony ships, although Mars is the place with the most demand for colony ship spots.   The Titan PDC is due in a month, and the missiles to stock it with have just been finished by the ordinance factories.   The Ottoman Empire has successfully tested a new weapon type that they call a meson, Faith Aras was skeptical of it, but once he heard that it could pierce the atmosphere whereas lasers could not pierce it. 


June 29th Harri Mahlberg was awoken by a voice on the loud speaker commanding him to hurry to the fleet command room at once.   When he arrived he saw a radar view of the solar system before him, except there was a new dot on it that he had never seen before, he asked what it is was.   His main admiral Lutz von Becher came up to him and said, “My Furher, that is a jump point.   We were right! They exist, and we have a monopoly on them!”.   Harri had to take this in for a few moments before asking how they use it.   A scientist in the Command Room said, “It’s completely stable we can use it whenever we want to, although we can’t attest to why it is stable, because these wormholes should be incredibly destabilized.  ”.   Harri nods, and then retires to his office where he phones the Ship Design Bureau and demands that come up with a ship meant to traverse the jump point.   The Ship designated the Deutschland-class destroyer is due for launch in 1980. 


July 22nd Yet another Jump Point has been discovered, and it again stumps the brightest minds of the German Reich as it is stable and open to free use without the engine they had spent so long designing to access them.   The FSNA completes its PDC construction and arms the PDC.   The Leadership of the FSNA meets for a 5 week conference on how to best deal with the other nations of Earth.   The Empire of Japan again stuns the world with a display of yet another type of warhead even strong the ones currently used by the other Great Powers.   The Japanese also design the Fukushima Kakuheiki(basically Kakuheiki means nuke) it has a max speed of 14000 km/s, and a warhead strength of 10 making it the most powerful nuke and fastest missile yet designed by the human race, it also comes with the perk that current Point-Defense cannot hit this missile with good accuracy.

July 13th Another Milestone for the FSNA its first 3 colony ships, the Mujahidin, the Moor, and The Mongol broke with their shipyards today.   They were immediately ordered to begin transporting colonists to Mars by the FSNA Naval and Space Command Center.   The Ottoman Empire begins research into an active sensor and a fire control for their new missile, while the German Reich has recalibrated their focus crystals to allow for lasers in the visible spectrum of light. 


July  21st Fatih Aras arrives in his office to find a folder filled with papers on his desk stamped with the seal of the Ottoman Empire Intelligence Agency.   He opens it to find details on details known as jump points that the Ottoman Spies had stole from the German Reich’s research files.   He gets on the phone and orders his research bureau to begin research on these jump points ASAP. 


August 17th After a couple years of improving the taxation system of the Ottoman Empire, Fatih Aras wakes up to find a report on his desk that says that the amount of money they made from taxation this year is 20% the amount of money they had made by this time last year.  


September 13th Today marks a great day in the history of the German Reich.   Today the Geosurvey Ship Terra broke with its shipyard.   It was immediately sent to survey Luna and then Mercury, which it obtained in its treaty with the FSNA. 


September 25th Today the number of mines on Mars reaches 35 mines in total, although the people to run those mines are not yet present, they soon will be. 


October 10th The Furher of the German Reich Harri Mahlberg sits before the mineral reports for Mercury and Luna and sits there stunned at the fact that Mercury is so rich in TN materials while Luna has barely anything, he begins to suspect that he got the low end of the bargain with the FSNA.  


October 21st Japan finishes its sweeping economic and taxation reforms which results in a giant economic boom.  


October 28th Again Harri Mahlberg sat at his desk in Berlin eyeing a mineral report, soon after it is said that he stormed out his office and punched a hole in the wall.   He was right, the FSNA had a played him for a fool.   Mars and Venus were stuffed full of TN minerals and they had signed it away without even knowing about it.   The Furher secretly swore revenge against the FSNA for this, but he knew it would have to wait, since the FSNA currently held superiority over Earth’s Air Space. 


December 1st The German Reich has completed its work in designing a new reactor and has successfully increased the speed at which it can accurately target moving objects with its lasers to 2000 km/s.   Meanwhile the FSNA has yet another bone to pick with the Chadwick Corporation, which has yet again failed to launch a Colony Ship, they are beginning to view their investment in it as a bad decision. 


December 12th The Ottoman Empire has just finished the first stage in the restructuring of their ground based military forces, with the completion of a new mobile infantry unit model based on TN technology.  


December 26th Today the first Ottoman Ship broke with its shipyard, the Istanbul Geosurvey Ship is ordered to go out and survey the inner system and then move to the outer system with regular stops at Earth. 


January 1st 1979 The FSNA Martian colony reached 1 million people today.
