Well, maybe not so easy... thought it could mostly be a DB change, but the DB "Installations" does not contain an entry for Financial Centres and in "Cargo Types" are a lot of IDs used which allegedly refer to the "Installations" DB but don't have a corresponding DB entry there. Do I have to look into other tables for the info around Financial Centres?

It though makes sense that any type of building could be transported around like in C#. Maybe Kyle can take on those changes in building tonnage and make the transport available?

I think will clash with the spirit of keeping Quasar VB6 alike. Perhaps a mod?
Good idea  ;)

Thank you, I started aurora with c# (well I may have logged 5 hours back when Quill18 did his first VB6 series) so, a lot of this is confusing to me.

I think the financial centers not being movable actually does make sense considering the economics of all citizens generating taxes even when not employed. In C# I use them to make colonies that primarily just produce colonists (no minerals or ruins or such) have low unemployment. In this version there really isn't much point to that. Although I am enviosioning a crazy transport carrying a few construction divisions and 600 each of corbomite and uridium going from my homeoworld to each of these colonies now... now I need to look up construction brigades to make sure they work the same.

I realized just now that it was on the quasar board.

Then no, Financial Centres, Spaceports and few other buildings cannot be moved once constructed. You can see it on the Wiki page of the old Aurora VB6 as well.

If they are not in that list, how do I select them?

edit: I think the image tag is not working, let me try again.

Is it intentional that you cannot place an order for the civilian industry to move financial centers?

Every installation can be moved under civilian contracts window, so I am not sure why you saying this.

The way it works is through supply and demand on the relative window of the given colony.
