A surprising Geological Survey Find
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:56:57 PM »
When my geo ship found 3 million tons of duranium at 0. 9 accessibility on Venus I made it a high priority for mining rigs and put it last on my list for additional surveys to give my team time to increase in skill, fast forward about 30 years when it is the last body to be surveyed by a team in the system, and for the first time in this game my jaw dropped:

Edit: picture doesn't seem to work.   .   .

Anyone else had significant mineral finds worthy of a picture?

If you play in version 6 or higher the skill of the team have no impact on what they find. The skill only have an impact on how fast they are able to finish the survey of the planet.

Just to let you know so that you don't think it has an actual impact on what they find.

You find the exact mechanics on it here...
