Battle Window on laptop

I have a laptop with max resolution of 1366 x 768.  In either that resolution or 1024x768 the battle screen seems to extend beyond the right side of the screen or at least I cannot actually see any controls to fire etc.  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I think that the Battle Window is 1280 x 1024 which was the resolution of Steve's second monitor at the time he designed it.  My little notebook couldn't handle it either.  In my case I did some extensive online research and then took a big risk by playing with my registry.  I got lucky and managed to get a resolution that notebook is not supposed to have.
