This one actually generates you a fresh planet texture with a lot of nice variables shown after. You can then take that texture and apply them to models. I've seen people somehow sharpening the result and getting impressive resolution.

Found a link to this today and had to give it a whirl. You have a set of template planet types which you can the generate random planets with. That alone is enough of a cool toy to keep you happy for some time, however you can also quickly grab screenshots of your planets which you can then convert and size for use in Aurora. Ever come across a hell world and want it to have a proper looking picture? now you can. Obviously all credits to the guy who made this program, just another tool to help make Aurora even better. One thing to note is you will need a patch to fix a screenshot bug. On the downloads just get the main program and the patch 002 and  your good to go.
