This design is classed as a Military Vessel for maintenance purposes
- A quickie design I whipped up on a whim. Noteworthy points are the armor, which is thick enough to tank a shot from it's own ASMs and it's two Beam FCS which allow it to split it's fire between the offensive and PD roles if needs be. Slow as hell, even for Nuclear Pulse. Not quite "fresh TN start" tech, but pretty close. 60,000 liters of fuel is carried for whatever parasite craft the Gestalt-Class might be packing. It has four hefty magazines that each hold 1 ASM, but furnish the ship with 10 HtK per magazine. Each engine is 2,000 tons, making them account for almost 30% of the vessel's mass. I don't expect the Gestalt-Class to get of more than one salvo in an engagement, but I don't want to have to run back to base after every shot either, so the four mags give it that ability. If needs be, Fighter sized colliers could be built, giving it perhaps one or two more shots on the go. It has enough MSP to repair it's most expensive component 15 times from battle damage or 30 times from regular repair. The Railguns take up 7 MSP to repair per gun, so that's 42 MSP for the set.
