Delete empty fighter squadron?

Is there any way to delete an empty fighter squadron? I remember doing it in the 5. 5x branch, but in 5. 6 I can't seem to find it if it's there.  I don't fancy having to constantly reorganize my squadrons when new carriers or PDCs come online to keep everything easy to find.

Not at this time.  Short of having database access to edit the squadron table.
