Glassing planets (spoilers)
« on: May 15, 2011, 06:05:18 PM »
Hi everyone!

I just had a ridiculously long series of 25-50 second interrupts.  I couldn't resist peeking into the SM event log and it turned out that the Invaders had arrived in 2! NPR homeworld systems and were busy reducing them to ash.  It's an exasperatingly long death rattle :P

I think I might abandon my current campaign because I don't appreciate the homogenising efforts of the Invaders. It's a shame because I was just about to launch my first carriers.

Can you turn the invaders off temporarily to end the onslaught?

Turning off the option only prevents new ones from appearing. Existing ships will continue to wreak havoc.

If you really really want them gone, you can go into SM and delete the entire systems. I'm not sure how much this may mess up your game, but it's better than flat out abandoning it.
