Probably, although it depends on how much happens in the game. Each year tends to take longer than the one before it(with the odd exception here and there).

Now that there are some new navy ships coming about, I'd like to reapply as a male naval officer. Could you name him Oled Mrtav? Hopefully his tour is a little more eventful than my other character.

Characters of any ability level may be requested(though more talented ones will take longer of course due to their rarity) and family members will be accepted once the existing character has at least 15 years of active service.

Sure thing. In case you missed it he was killed in an accident a couple of years back. I'll wait for a character who is at least decent(min. 300 promotion score) which is more than enough to get a job as soon as one is available, or on the end of the next tour. It shouldn't take long at all unless recruit quality dies.

Jessica is the illegitmate daughter of Herman Fox, who had a thing for his secretary. I think of more details as soon she is approved.

That's a rare combination of skills Heph. FYI, out of 129 officers at the lower two ranks there are currently 21 with one or the other of those(Operations & Logistics). Only 2 have both. Do you want to wait what might be a very long time to get another with both abilities, or accept having only one of them?

Jay Cin V, who is most definitely not a clone of the original Jay Cin, has shown up at a naval recruiting center. I would prefer a male character with some useful skills, but otherwise it doesn't matter.

Father - Civilian Freighter Captain, died from acute decompression sickness (went flying out into space) before birth of Ignace
Mother - Sergeant Sol PDF, Killed shortly after birth of Ignace in a training accident
Background - Sought Officer Candidacy training, but was unable to progress due to Insubordinate nature. Enlisted at age 18 with the Marines. Granted battlefield commission following hostile action against Rebel forces due to a daring raid and successful capture of enemy craft.
Profession - Void Marine (Colonel of Marine Company)
Psychological Profile - Disciplined, Aggressive, Pessimistic, Highly Educated, Insubordinate (reason he began with the enlisted, even though he's extremely intelligent)

There's a very recent recruit that fits as well as can be expected(different personality traits of course, but we can role-play the character however so that doesn't really matter).

fantastic, I think of Ignace as a bit of a hot head that understands military rules and traditions and respects them when appropriate, but also knows when doing so would get in the way of completing a mission. Now a Colonel, he's a bastard to his men, but also a father to them as well.

A new admin. came in January 2073 which is your first shot. However, he really sucks -- I've only seen one or two spawned that were worse. Please let me know in the next 48 hours if you want to keep the bad one or wait what could be several years longer to join the fray.
