The United Nations Space Agency is a international authority organised under the auspices of the United Nations to foster co-operation and demilitarize space exploration to prevent conflict in the Solar System. The United Nations Space Agency answers only to the Secretary General, its own leadership organised under the Admiralty of the Agency and to those nations organised under the Agency Council which represent the interests of the Agencies member states.
The UNSA is consequently bound by UN Law and Regulation as well as specific legislation attributed purely to the UNSA. The Agency holds no authority on Earth outside of its own facilities, but receives the use or lease of much of Earth's trans-newtonian industry and manufacturing capacity as the primary outlet for these industries. The Agency is itself largely forbidden from militarizing space though preliminary authority was granted for a small force of destroyers mounting a single dual-turret laser for anti-piracy duties. The Agency must authorize all military designs through the Agency Council and only receives independence for military matters in an extra-solar capacity. The Agency is therefore forbidden from building or maintaining armed weapons platform in Earth orbit.
Further to this, the Agency has been expressly forbidden from mounting any of its approved warships with unauthorized weaponry and given the ongoing nuclear disarmament on Earth, is forbidden from mounting missiles or maintaining such stockpiles of weapons. In most other things, the Charter of the UNSA is space exploration and must turn to its Admiralty and Council of delegates in order to formulate policy or make formal decisions on its direction.
With the UNSA settling into its remit no individual member of the admiralty has assumed overall responsibility for any individual service or department, but the Agency is likely to do so as the organisation assumes its role.

Fleet Headquarters (Known heres insofar as The Admiralty)
Fleet Headquarters contains the upper echelons of leadership and provides direction to the constituent departments, forces and services organised beneath it.
-Colonial Agency
--Terraforming Services
The Colonial Agency manages administration of colonies, automated or otherwise, and is given overall command authority over any and all colony ships constructed or maintained by the Agency itself. The Agency currently manages 5 Providence Class Colony ships and the ongoing administration of the Martian Colony. Its subsidiary branch of Terraforming Services is organised under the the Colonial Agency and is assigned all terraforming assets under agency remit, currently organizing 10 Zuiderzee Class Terraforming ships in the ongoing Martian project.
-Destroyer Squadron

2nd Destroyer Group
The Destroyer Squadron currently represents the extent of the Agencies military force as allowed by the member nations. The Six constituent Atlantic Class Destroyers are limited to a single dual turret laser armament and light armour. In order to foster continued co-operation these two destroyer groups, on station at Earth and Mars respectively, are undertaking training exercises while remaining as a deterrent to piracy.
-Survey Department
The Survey Department deals with all Geological and Gravitational Surveys requested by the Agency. The Survey Department is the largest collection of ships currently within the Agencies structure with 9 Survey Ships currently tasked with exploring the recently discovered jump points. The Survey Department consequently functions as the primary assets and face of the UNSA in its task of exploration with a primary goal of discovering habitable worlds or prospective ones and gathering accurate information on the extent of mineral deposits in any discovered star systems.
-Logistical Services
The Logistical Services currently consists of a single Seychelles Light Cargo Group totaling 8 Seychelles Class Freighters with a total capacity of 40,000 tons. Logistical Services, aside from this primary hauling component oversees civilian mining efforts including sorium harvesting by certain corporations, though it has no direct control of these matters. Logistical Services accordingly handles most cargo deployment and the new network of Mass Driver catapult systems, as well as small scale affairs such as Starport Management and Security on Earth and Mars.
-Troop Deployment Services
The smallest department currently ran by the Agency, two recently laid down Omaha Class Troop Transports tasked with moving construction brigades to Mars to investigate the ruins there. Overall Troop Deployment Services works in concert with Logistical Services to provide the hauling capacity for military units that operate on a planetary service. As this is largely relegated to moving troops between Earth and Mars for the foreseeable future, Troop Deployment Services is more a form of future proofing than applicable assets.
