I may have it still on my laptop as I upgraded that from Win8 but my tower didn't come with it...only Edge and Firefox.  I am using Mozzilla for mail since I could not get the Microsoft thing to work for reasons I have yet to fathom (it works on my laptop oddly enough).  Edge has "issues" and leave it at that.

the only thing worse than edge as a browser is firefox!

hmm thats weird, I didnt think it was even possible to remove ie11 from windows (I can't see any way to do it at least, and I have 4 windows 10 machines here, and they all have it)

I have done so, it is not installed on my machine at all and when I went to Micro$oft's website to see about installing it the webpage had "is not compatable with your operating system" statement.  About chrome...I had trouble with my Xbox and so I was in contact with Micro$oft support (they did a great job) as I could not get their webpage to work right to report the issue...and they asked me "do you have chrome installed or another browser?"  So basically their own website didn't work very well in their own browser...made me nearly fall out of the chair laughing.   But the support people themselves were great.

IE 11 is on windows 10 by default,  if you type in the start menu search box 'internet explorer' it'll be there,  I think theres an option on right click for hyperlinks to open it in ie11 as well,  just remember ie11 has bought the farm and isn't getting any more love.  Edge's major flaw is all the missing utility,  like for example,  being able to sort favorites is missing (???)  like almost everyone else I installed chrome.

I don't find IE 11, and when I went to install it said it wasn't compatible with Win10.  Yeah Edge is less than spectacular as a browser.  May have to start using Firefox.

There is a spell checker.

The Edge browser is more for tablets, Internet explorer 11 is still present in windows 10.

You can find that in your start menu, right click it to pin it to your taskbar.

Win10's browser (whatever it is called that replaces explorer) and the forums don't work so well togther.  I can't click on the "bold" button, or any of the others.  I also can't resize the window, or easily move text around.  I can click "post" though.  I'm not sure why this is, if the issue is on my side, the boards, or Micro$oft's.

But in summary for some reason or another their new browser doesn't seem to like the forum that much!

One reason I ditched it and ended up on Chrome. We'll see if MS fixes it or if a patch on the forum software fixes it. I'm not holding my breath on either.

The default Microsoft internet browser (called Edge for Windows 10) on any platform is not that good. Its only use for many is to download another browser.
