I know i have Uses the first 1-3 Months for Training Move them About your Home System or at a Max 2 systems out then Back. it gives you a Training Cruse and Allows You to do Normal Operations. If you have Fighter or GB's Have them do Short Caps ( combat Air or in this case Space Patrols ). that will get them training and Flight time.

Not sure if it is a well known feature, a tip for new players or an advanced tactic... so let me just put it here.
Apparently TGs are capable to be both escorting and training. So like... they move alongside protected TG _while_ being on task force training.

This way you can train ships while moving them from point A to point B, no need for the "once trained, go back to A those 200M km, refuel and then finally go to B". Also you can assign proper escort ships to the main fleet before they are trained - they can train on the move and if anything bad appears you just stop they training and they are immediately ready to support the main force.

So which of the three types from the first sentence have I found?
