Ok, tried that... still nothing. The reset window position button does nothing.
Make sure all the windows are closed before you use the reset window position button.

I just downloaded it, and I was having the same problem, I use 1024x768 normally because of my small moniter, but I changed it to 1280x1024, then I closed the window, hit the reset window position button, and opened it again and it worked. Now I just have to get used to the tiny text... 17" CRT fail.

It sounds like some sort of cache type issue, but as far as I know, Steve isn't caching the files.

Have you tried the usual suspects? Clear temp files, defrag, etc? It's a long shot, but it's the only think I can think of.

Well, I have been messing around with alternate resolutions, such as the paint image at 800x800 and other games at different resolutions running in their own windows on my desktop. 800 pixels across is half my screen. 800 pixels down is more than half the screen. So... what the crap!? None of you have this problem? I have this problem after two re-installs! ...oh well, I'm sure we'll think of something.

Ok, just did a complete re-install. And the problem is still there.
I really don't know what to suggest. The picture appears to be a lower resolution than 1400x1050 so it might be possible what you are seeing is not the resolution that your computer is saying it is using. One option might be to create a picture in Paint, set the attributes to say 800 x 800 pixels and see how large that is in relation to the viewable area.

1650x1050, my current favorite.

That's strange.  As I noted before, I use 1400x1050, and I don't have that problem.

From looking at the picture, though, the problem you are having is definitely related to having too low of a resolution.  I wonder if the problem continues because you started under the lower resolution, and continues now even under the higher resolution.

If that is the case, an uninstall/reinstall is likely the only answer.

Yeah... after the bizarre installation process you can guess that does not appeal to me.

Hmmm... Maybe someone else has an idea... All I can think of would be to uninstall and reinstall.

What resolution is that at?

There it is, in all of it's glory. I try moving it and that is really the whole image. There is nothing below that. The whole planet image is not displayed, I cannot shrink the size of that window or expand it, and even if I could expand it to see everything, seeing everything would still require moving the top bar far up and off screen.

Nothing that can be done with it works.

The grid and that scroll bar were never missing. At first it was about a third of the whole display on one side gone. Now just part of the bottom is gone.

Could you post a screenshot of the problem?
