Oh. Shame really. I found the idea of the crew reproducing on longer voyages strangely attractive.

Happened to me too.

Turned out I had damaged engines and insufficient MSP on board to fix the damage.

Related question.  I had a case of overcrowding on a ship.
What could have caused that? Crew breeding like rabbits? Damaged crew quarters?

If their engines exploded, overhaul does not repair it. You need to use your shipyards to repair them.

Some of my ships would get stuck at 1 km/s for no apparent reason. They have fuel and more than enough MSP. I used SM to move them to Earth and overhaul, thinking they might be broken, but following overhaul they would leave and get stuck after about a day. They're all red in the fleet window, what am I doing wrong?
