You could also use AuroraMod to change the culture settings within the game.

This did it for me.
Thanks.

Instead of changing my system's language, can I use a locale emulator or something?

In the regional settings, you only need to change the number format in my experience.

Nothing to stop you from trying.  If it works, please report it as it may help others.

I'm happy to read that, it was a bother to switch in Windows setting.

Now another question related to regional settings, my date displays in French (my language) and not in English in Aurora. I prefer to have everything in English, is that possible?

Sure.  Change your Windows settings to use English.

Aurora calls date information directly from Windows; it no longer uses it's own calendar.  This means Aurora has no date settings.

So nothing gameplay critical as we had in VB times... that’s great 😊

Mineral Survey Window gives an errorcode and won´t show you the minerals.

In my experience it is not so much a matter of not working with a comma (as in - error messages), but it does require extra work. One example is the mineral search window. If I change the amount of any single mineral, but don't change the accessibility, it stays on '0.1'. My system uses comma, so it interprets it as '1' instead of '0,1'. If I am only interested in seeing which bodies have duranium on them and don't care about the accessibility, I still need to change the accessibility from '0.1' to '0,1' - otherwise it only finds acc 1 bodies.

This means a lot more work when making complicated mineral searches as I can't simply change the number, but have to write out the '0,' as well.

Have read recently that Steve suggests to switch from comma to period. I am playing with comma and had no issues there yet. So I skimmed through the bugs list but couldn’t find anything. What is not working when you use comma?
