If you just select all of them in Windows Explorer, then right click rename, it'll name all the files "What-you-typed (#)" - which is more than good enough for this. Takes all of 2 seconds.

There are several simple software that can rename hundreds of file at once based on a specific format, even windows has an integrated toll that does that.

So, I can simply rename his files and add them to the folder no?

That will work. Renaming 350 files by hand would be tedious, though, unless you feel comfortable doing it with some kind of script or command.

Hello, Do I have to delete the standard ship icons that come with the game? Can't We have both?

Unfortunately, yes, because OP has made the questionable decision of having their own ship icons use the same file names as the ones with the game.

@OP: I don't see why it would not be possible to name the icons as, e.g., "Oriolus_ship###.png" or similar and not overwrite the default ones. It is better to let the player decide if they want to keep the defaults or not, IMO.

You are welcome.  :) The station set is almost done, I will release it in a couple of days.

After the portraits of the species, I also made 350 icons for the spaceships.  It was important that they matched the style of the previous set, and I tried to create images of a quality that would be appropriate for a modern game.  It was also important to have variety, so hopefully everyone will find icons for their spaceships that suit their style of play.  The images are of course completely unique and do not infringe copyright.

How to install?
Simply delete or archive the old files from the Aurora C\ ShipIcons\ folder and copy the new images from the ZIP packages in their place!
