Upon salvaging the "wreck" of a Star Swarm warrior I got this, besides some minerals:

"A number of strange alien larvae were discovered during the salvage operation. They appeared to be feeding on the wreckage and growing rapidly. All the larvae were terminated."

I think I remember this one!!  I don't remember if I saw it myself, or if I read someone else's account (maybe even yours) on the old yahoo board , but this rings a big bell.

Reminds me of the part in the Rigellian Diaries where the empire discovers Earth - I really enjoyed the humor in those segments.

I was in commander window, to rename one of my commander "Grace the succubus", and then... somethin happened with the gender box

That sucked balls... Had something like 1000 Infrastructure and forgot to change the 1000 bit... and clicked add pdc. 1000 individual PDC construction orders.

LOL - I hadn't noticed that one, but Steve puts those little easter eggs in every now and then.  IIRC, there used to be a "clear all" button on the construction queue - when you'd mouse over it, it would say something about being there so Erik could delete the 1000 individual PDC build orders that he'd created (which is what led to the request for the button....)
