No way - you need to eyeball it.  The ability to do so would make a nice suggestion for the official suggestions thread though (NOT a new thread).

There is a variance in the sensor range reported to you, Steve is cruel :)

Yep - IIRC the range reported is based on an assumption that they've got EM sensitivity of 10.  So if they're very high tech expect the range to be much bigger.

I am perfectly okay with this considering how badly NPRs allocate research at times, and how bad they are in general.

Are NPR missile launchers subject to the same rules as the player?  I am currently fighting a Precursor fleet - their longest range Active Sensor that I can detect is 62m km, however as soon as they got to 90m km the game went into combat increments and their missiles have now reached my fleet.  My longest range missile is 67m km so I was hoping to hit them and knock out their Fire Controls while their missiles were still heading towards.  Fairly confident I can stop all their missiles, but will use up lots of counter missiles!

So anyway, anyone know how they launched missiles without me detecting an equivalent range active sensor?  I thought longer range sensors were easier to pick up on EM?
