When I go into the task force window, on the list of ships, there are sometimes letters next to the names, like "DE Eagle (A)" or "EX Amazon (T). " What does it mean?
In case it's not clear, I mean the letters in the brackets (parentheses, for you Americans), not the hull classification symbols.

(T) -- Tanker
(A) -- Ammunition Collier
These are based on the checkboxes you set during class design (F5). Aurora doesn't even check to see if a ship so flagged has any magazines or fuel tanks on board, because throwing an error about that would be pretty annoying while you were still monkeying with the design.

Ah, I see. That's very useful, thanks.

Incidentally, I think you might be wrong about the (A) meaning it's a collier; I have 2 ships with the marking that don't even have magazines. I just checked and they aren't marked as colliers in the class design either.

Active sensors are on?

That could be it. Still not sure about (T), though. It's not tanker, I just checked. And no, I checked if it could be thermal sensors, and it's not that either.

A is Active Sensors On
T is Transponder On
