Title: Conquered populations

I have a planet I conquered several decades ago and they are now an Imperial Population. Do all imperial population "adopt" my racial profile, in this case human or do I have to terraform a planet to their original preferences?

They are still the same species - just part of your overall Empire (Race). So they will have different environmental tolerances.
