Title: Playing as an Alien Empire

In the Race window, i can modify player race, but, i cant see anything related to starting system.

is there any option to play as an Alien, outside Sol system?

Create that default race, start your game. Then, in SM mode, create a new system (see change logs on how to tweak Systems). Make a suitable planet (nitrogen oxygen), then create a race (same window).

Save, restart and you can access your new race and play with it.

In Systems view, delete Sol, then change your race in tactical view to player race (some errors), then in race menu you can finally delate player race. And you're set

Turn on space master and go to the System Generation and Display window.  At the bottom right there is an option to "create system" do that until you find one you like, or modify the bodies to your liking with an atmosphere.  At that point select the desired homeworld on the list and then press "Create Race".  It's variables will be set to perfect for the planet you selected.  Make sure "NPR" is unchecked and you will be able to play as this race.  You can delete the original race and sol if you desire.
