Title: Creating ships via SM ?

I'm testing out a lot of designs, and ever since I played Space Empires 4, where you can pit every single ship, fighter, satellite and space station you've gotten a detailed scan of or designed into a simulated battle, I always try to actually do combat testing for my different designs, except that I can't find how to do spawn ships in C# Aurora. Anyone knows how to do so ?
