Title: How to stop automatic turns?

I have automatic turns set but I can’t stop them - when turns are processed, and a 1-day turn takes about 5 minutes to process, the window appears as (Not Responding) and turns grey when I click anything. Once the turn is resolved, it doesn’t let me click anything either and so the cycle continues. What should I do?

Normally, you need two clicks to disable. One to get your pointer back from the hourglass state, the second on the auto-turn button.
