Title: Finding hidden JPs
Post by: snapto on April 29, 2020, 04:34:22 PM
I suspect a hidden JP in a previously surveyed system. Is there a way to reset a system's survey status in C# so I can find the bugger?

You probably have to use spacemaster. Unsurvey the system then survey it again.

PS: Some people to be more realistic unsurvey the system and then send ships in again, some others just handle it from Spacemaster fully (would be on the cheating side? depending on you)

Yup, it was in SM. A 'Full Grav Survey' button at the bottom of the System Generation and Display window. I tried it on a second suspected system and it immediately resurveys the entire system revealing any new JPs. I've decided to go about it the hard way - It's more fun. The first suspected system I finally locked down the contact and followed it to the exit JP.  I'll use the same process for the new suspected system (I didn't save the freebee survey).
