Hi guys,
Should docked ships have maintenance paused?
Mine seem to have the deployment paused but not the maintenance is this right?
Also when I go in for overhaul any dock ships are not getting overhauled either is this right?
Edit
Thanks for the replies
I'm talking about parasites - I have two different types of fighter and a 3Kt corvette docked in commercial hanger decks. When the fleet is deployed their maintenance clocks are ticking up even though both they and their host vessel have MSP to spare.

Your vessels are reset only if you instruct them to start the overhaul. In this case the movement cannot be made. In the status of your vessel, you have an O which indicates that it is under review.
They are automatically paused during the revision.

By docked, do you mean ships stationed at a colony or parasites in a hangar? In the first case, there must be enough maintenance facilities present with sufficient MSP available. In the second case, military hangars will rewind the clock automatically if sufficient MSP is available while commercial hangars don't handle maintenance at all, not even pausing it.
-
Correction, Commercial Hangars WILL do so, but only if sufficient Maintenance Modules are present. I know that sounds redundant, but it is important to remember that. Commercial Hangars do not prohibit the maintenance of ships within them if there is sufficient maintenance for them. That means that with both, you can have a Commercial Fighter Base! Or a wetdock!

Assuming you mean in orbit of a colony, then as long as the colony has sufficient maintenance capacity the maintenance clock shouldn't go up (though it won't go down without an overhaul).
If you mean docked in a hangar, military hangars will both prevent maintenance from rising and reduce the maintenance clock. Civilian hangars won't (on their own).

OH I think this is my problem than you very much, I will build a ship with military hanger and that should fix the issue i am having!

Maintenance in Military hangars no only rewind the clock they maintain all the parasites for free and at no MSP cost.
Commercial hangars also don't reload box launchers.
Commercial hangars are mainly meant for temporary transport of military vessels and can be used as repair yards in deep space. There are also many commercial uses for the hangars where you transport different commercial utility vessels. A slower "Fleet Tanker" can house small very fast commercial tankers to fuel smaller flotillas, scouts or fighter groups for example. You can build hospital ships with small scouts to pick up survivors etc...
