It seems like a silly question, but spaceports...what exactly do they do. I’ve placed several on one of my colonies and looking at the summary page, I can’t really tell what capability or enhancement they are providing. Do they simply speed the rate at which colonists can be loaded or unloaded?
In addition, how many refueling stations does a colony require before it can support refueling of ships? Is a shipyard required in order to have refueling capability? The same colony where I have delivered spaceports also has several refueling stations with cargo hangers. There is a sodium mining and refining operation on planet with fuel in the stockpile, but I still cannot refuel ships in orbit. Is this because there is no shipyard, or is the refueling level too low...it isn’t presently at .6.

Spaceports act as an ordnance transfer station, a refuelling station and a cargo shuttle station. They also allow construction factories at the same population to build space stations.
One refuelling station is enough.

^Thank you. So on a colony that has a spaceport, refueling stations, fuel and cargo handling stations, why can't I refuel ships that are in orbit?
