Title: Maintenance Vessels

I wish to be able to top up my Survey vessels with Maintenance supplies  "in the Field" without the need for them to return to base.


I have researched Maintenance Module for an anticipated Maintenance ship that can transfer MSP's to my vessels in space. Other than the Modules ( and Maintenance Support tonnage requirement ) and Cargo Shuttle Bays , what other additional extra components are needed on this type of vessel ( e.g are Cargo Holds or other such items required ).

You just need Cargo Shuttles and a Maintenance Storage Bay on the ship that is doing the resupplying.
Maintenance Modules are just Maintenance Facilities in Space.  You dont need them if you are just transfering supplies.

You also need to check Collier on the right hand side of the class design screen.

Collier is for missile transfer, you need to check Supply Ship to transfer supplies.
